1962 Lambretta TV175 (series 2)

I bought this scooter in pieces in 1993. The person I bought it from had taken it apart to do a full restoration. In is still in the same state as when I bought it. Supposedly it ran when it was disassembled. It had some bodywork done on it. Lots of bondo. It was well done though. The leg shield just needs a sanding and a little cleanup and should look fine when painted.

I have all parts for it except the bridge piece. At least I think I have all of the other parts. The panel badges are mangled. I didn't see the horn cover badge, so I assume it is missing. The horn cover is in perfect shape. The seat is a bench style seat. I don't know if it's original or not. I have all of the cables and wiring, but it should probably all be replaced. The rubber bits definitely need replacing.

I do not have the pink slip, because the DMV screwed up and never sent it to me. But I still have all of the paperwork given to me by the previous owner, and it shouldn't be hard to get the pink slip. It might even be easier to register it as a new bike (that's a pretty easy process).

The front fender is original steel, not a repro fiberglass one. It is cracked where they always crack, and has a little bondo slapped on top of it. It was apparently sandblasted and then left bare (hence the rust).

The right panel also has lots of bondo on it.

The left panel is untouched, and has one large (but shallow) dent.

The engine is fully assembled. It turns over easily, so I assume its condition is good, but I have never actually run it. The rear shock is new, but a little corroded on the exterior.

The carb slide moves smoothly, and the carb seems to be in good shape over all, but will probably need a good cleaning.

The original speedo.
